Founded by 12 Eskrima masters on January 11, 1932, Doce Pares is a multi-style system combining many Eskrima styles. Arts included in this training are:
All the three styles of Corto (Close Range);
Corto Linear (blade fighting)
Corto Kurbada (Curving hand-strikes)
Corto Orihinal (low, wide stances)

Media Largo (Medium Range)
Larga Mano (Long Range)
Espada y Daga (Short & Long Stick or Stick Dagger)
Baraw (Knife Fighting Techniques)
Mano-Mano (Open Hand Fighting)

The current Grand Master is Dionisio "Diony" Cañete.

Doce Pares multi-style system is a conglomeration of the original styles of Filipino Martial Arts introduced by its founding masters in 1932. In early 1970 Diony Cañete was commissioned by his father, Eulogio Cañete the President of the Doce Pares school to study, prepare, and formulate a program of instruction that would cover and comprehend all the component styles.
